Terrence Gatons

Terrence C. Gatons , 86, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021, at home. He was born Feb. 5, 1935, in Joliet, Ill., a son of the late Charles and Laura McManus Gatons. Terry was a sales associate for Terry's Auto Glass, Greensburg. He was a graduate of Greensburg High School, Class of 1954, and the University of Steubenville. He was Catholic by faith and served in the Marine Corps. Terry was also a past member of the Antique Car Club and was a collector of telephones over the years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kevin C. Gatons. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 61 years, Patricia A. Heimann Gatons; a son, Michael Gatons (Fe), of Greensburg; two daughters, Susan Rhome (Barry), of Greensburg, and Elizabeth Clement (Mark), of North HIlls; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Gatons, of Greensburg; five grandchildren, Sydney, Quintin and Lillian Gatons and Lukas and Laura Clement; a sister-in-law, Nancy Haines (Robert), of Latrobe; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Terrence from 10 a.m. to noon, the time of services, Thursday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. Private interment will follow in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Latrobe. Please be prepared to adhere to all CDC guidelines.
