Michael Knatz

Michael A. Knatz , 78, of Greensburg, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021. He was born April 18, 1943, in Greensburg, a son of the late Michael and Ruby Maslik Knatz. Michael was a sales representative for Old Dominion Freight, Washington, Pa. He was a member of the General Tire Bowling League, LMTA Golf League and the ISDA, Pittsburgh Chapter. Michael enjoyed spending time with his friends on the weekends at Panera Bread. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances Baker and Mary Ann Johnson. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 44 years, Sharon L. Daerr Knatz; four children, Michelle Sagredo, of Hollywood, Fla., Mark Knatz (Diana), of Greensburg, Kelli Knatz, of Gibsonia, and Katie Payne (Jeremie), of Greensburg; five grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews and his canine companion and friend, Baylee. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Michael from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. Parting prayers will be held at 9 a.m. Friday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. in the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral. Entombment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg.
