Laurie Mcginnis

Laurie L. (Coughenour) McGinnis , 55, of South Greensburg, died Thursday, Dec. 30, 2021. She was born Sept. 24, 1966, in Jeannette, a daughter of the late Jon F. and Patricia M. Miller Coughenour. Laurie was a member of Word of Life Church. She was a graduate of GSHS and WCCC and had plans to attend Seton Hill in the new year to complete her studies in business and human resources. She was a customer service agent for Amazon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Eric and Rose Marie Coughenour. She is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Ricky K. McGinnis; three children, Eric Sopher, of Uniontown, Sarah Allen (Alexander) and Gabriella Sopher, all of Greensburg; a granddaughter, Aubrey Sierra; stepmother, Linda Coughenour, of Charlotte, N.C.; two sisters, Jonna Harrison (Todd), of Charlotte, N.C., and Mandy Coughenour, of Orlando, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Laurie from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday in Word of Life Church, 4497 PA-136, Greensburg, PA 15601. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the church, with Pastor Thomas A. Walters officiating. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg.
