H. Thomas Fait

H. Thomas Fait , 89, of Jeannette, died Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021, at home. He was born April 30, 1932, in Greensburg, a son of the late Howard and Carrie Good Fait. Tom was a member of Word of Life Church and enjoyed traveling, camping and boating with his family. He was a retired quality control inspector for Super Valu. He also was a loyal and avid Pirates fan and a member of the Pittsburgh Pirates Boosters, volunteering for 18 years at their training facility in Bradenton, Fla. Tom was a faithful attendee of the Ludwick Reunion. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Kobe; and three siblings, Ron and Lloyd Fait and Joy Bolton. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 68 years, Norma J. Stitely Fait; three children, Debra Britton (Philip), of Newport News, Va., H. Thomas Fait II (Josie), of Jeannette, and Doug Fait, of Greensburg; eight grandchildren, Joshua Britton (Naomi), David Britton, Elisa Chong (Creighton), Tom Fait III, Rick Fait, Rebecca Fait, Kara Glendening (Rob) and Alan Fait (Emily); seven great-grandchildren, Judah, Luke, Kalani, Christian, Jaelynn, Kane and Kolbi; two sisters, Sally Sanderbeck, of Greensburg, and Jean Wright (Jim), of Latrobe; two brothers, Jim Fait (Barb), of Fort Myers, Fla., and Jeff Fait (Patty Kummick), of Greensburg; numerous nieces and nephews; and his feline pals, Mazie and Patches. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Thomas from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020 . A funeral service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Thomas A. Walters, officiating. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg.  The family would like to thank the staff of the AHN Health Care at Home for their loving care and kindness during Tom's illness.
