Charles L. Allen, 73, of Wilmerding, died Monday, September 05, 2022 in the Pittsburgh Medical VA Center.  He was born September 26, 1948, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Walter J. Allen and Leola E. Hill Berger. Charles was a Veteran of the US Army having served during the Vietnam Era.  He loved fishing and his time that he spent in the Philipines and also was an avid Steelers fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Richard Berger, Sr. and his brother-in-law Richard Lewis. He is survived by his four children, Jason Allen (Lea Jane)  of West Mifflin, Talia Stone (Chad Nissen) of Appleton, WI, Odeyssa Hanke (Eric) of Manitowoc, WI and Marcus Allen of Appleton, WI; three grandchildren, Kailee, Precious Bella and Jacqueline Marie; stepmother, Rosario Allen of Houston, TX;  six siblings, Kenneth L. Berger of Appleton, WI, Richard Berger of Greensburg, Wonnie Lewis of Port St. Lucie, FL, Elice A. Berger of Greensburg, Lupe Allen and Peter Allen, both of Houston, TX; step brother, Juan Ramirez of Houston and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Charles at his funeral service to be held Monday at 11am in the St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg with Minister Eugene Cooper, officiating. Interment with full Military Honors will follow. Charles’ family has entrusted his care to the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W.
