Alex Semenko, Jr., 86, of New Stanton, died Sunday, May 09, 2021. He was born May 13, 1934, in Forbes Road, a son of the late Alexander and Anna Sophie Werstuik Semenko, Sr. Alex was a Truck Driver for Georgia Pacific in Hunker and served in the US Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Semenko. He is survived by his two children, Anna Swank (Cory) of New Stanton and Frank Semenko of Butler; their mother, Debbie Hermann of Mt. Pleasant; two grandsons, Jaxon Springer and Cory Swank, Jr and a grandson expected in August, Shawn Alexander Swank; a brother, Edward Semenko of Prescott, AZ and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Alex, Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W. Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Jonathan Hartland, celebrating. Inurnment will be in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery. Keeping with CDC guidelines, those attending the viewing and funeral are required to wear face masks and practice social distancing.
