Thomas E. Hertzog, Jr.

Thomas E. Hertzog, Jr., 65, of Apollo, died Sunday, November 30, 2025. He was born October 20, 1960, in Greensburg, a son of the late Thomas E. Hertzog, Sr.

Tom was the owner of the former Hertzog Construction and a member of St. James Church, Apollo. He was an avid hunter, skilled woodworker, and enjoyed fishing. Most of the furniture in his home was handcrafted in his woodshop.

Thomas is survived by his mother, Rose Marie Robb Hertzog of Jeannette; his three sons, Isaac Hertzog (Katherine Decker) of Great Mills, MD, Benjamin Hertzog of Brooklyn, NY and Ty Hertzog of Apollo; sister, Gwyn Zollinger (Matthew) of Jeannette; brother, Gregory Hertzog (Lisa) of Mt. Pleasant; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends of Thomas will be received Thursday from 2:30 until the time of funeral service at 6 p.m., in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W. Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020.
