Susan Chamberlain

Susan M. (Schietroma) Chamberlain , 55, of Greensburg, died Monday, Aug. 13, 2018, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. She was born Oct. 7, 1962, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Anthony H. and Mary E. Wertz Schietroma. Susan was a member of St. Bruno Church. She enjoyed working as a caregiver for both young children and the elderly. Prior to working as a caregiver, she had been a cashier at the Greensburg Walmart. She loved going to the Ramada Inn to dance and listen to music with her husband and friends. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 35 years, Edward M. Chamberlain; two children, Lindsay and Zachary Chamberlain, both at home; two brothers, William Schietroma (Wendy), of Blairsville, and Anthony Schietroma (Janet), of Greensburg; several in-laws, nieces,nephews and friends; and her canine friends, Toby and Bentley. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Sue from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. Parting prayers will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. Friday, followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Bruno Church. Entombment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mutual Aid Ambulance Service Inc., P.O. Box 361, Greensburg, PA  15601.
