Harriet Ruth (Zorn) Kuhns, 90, of Greensburg, died Monday, April 27, 2026. Born June 14, 1935, in Berlin, PA, she was the daughter of Donald and Carolyn (Saylor) Zorn. Ruth was survived by her husband George, to whom she was married for 68 years. She was a graduate of Greensburg High School, class of 1954.
Ruth did not write the following but describes her life perfectly. "When I die, bury me with a picture of my children. Because the greatest thing I've ever done isn't my career, my house, or the money I made. It's the sleepless nights I survived, the tiny hands I held, the laughter, the tears, and every hug that healed me. When I stand before God, I won't show him what I owned. I'll show Him the love, the time, and the heart poured into raising my children. They are “without question” my masterpieces.
Ruth's 2nd greatest love in her life was her five grandsons. She loved to cook for friends and family.
The Thanksgiving meal each year for the family of 13 was always looked forward to.
Ruth leaves a husband, George Kuhns, daughters Jean Ann Bock and husband Kevin of Greensburg, Leah Holden and partner Dave Navarro of Connellsville, and son Edward and his wife Tina of Greensburg. She also leaves her precious grandsons, Tyler Holden, Evan Holden, Caleb Holden, Brandon Bock and Cody Kuhns.
Ruth is also survived by two brothers, William (Bill) Zorn and wife Ruth of Delmont, PA., James Zorn, and sister Mary Ann Waugaman. Also surviving is sister-in-law Donna Zorn of Del Ray Beach, Florida and also a number of nieces and nephews.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Carolyn Zorn, brothers John Zorn and Robert Zorn both formerly of Worcester, Massachusetts.
There will be no viewing or services per the wishes of the deceased.
