Ronald William Beidler, 75, of Corry, PA, formerly of Greensburg, died Thursday, July 10, 2025, in the Corry Memorial Hospital. He was born November 18, 1949, in Greensburg, a son of the late Robert and Cylo Waters Beidler.
A proud graduate of Greensburg Salem High School, Ron spent over 40 years in various roles, including gas station attendant, truck driver, and maintenance worker at Eastwood Garden Apartments and The Door Shop. He married his beloved late wife of 51 years, Evelyn, in Winchester, VA on August 10th, 1973. He was forever grateful for her unwavering care and love, which provided him with constant support throughout his life. He had a deep appreciation for '70s music and patriotic songs like “I'm Proud to Be an American”. He was also a big fan of Western movies and TV shows, as well as NASCAR racing. Above all, Ron loved his country and was a proud Vietnam War veteran. He made a remark once that he would have re-enlisted after 9/11 had he not been too old. He proudly served as a trustee at VFW Post 33, where he continued to honor his commitment to his fellow Veterans.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Lois (Claycomb) Beidler who passed in March of this year.
He is survived by his daughter, Denise Bilott (Ben) of Tidioute; three grandchildren; Evelyn and twins, Ella and Flora; two brothers, Robert Beidler and George Beidler (Barb), all of Greensburg.
Relatives and friends of Ronald will be received Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W. Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday July 15, 2025, in the Funeral Home with Pastor Matthew Fisher, officiating.
Interment with Military Honors will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg.
The family would like to thank the staff of Corry Manor for their loving care that was provided to Ronald during his stay.
