Philip Leonard Crimboli, 94, of Greensburg passed away Friday, March 13, 2026, at St. Anne’s Nursing Home. He was born October 25, 1931 at home in South Greensburg, first child of the late Eugenio and Paolina (Pistolesi) Ciarimboli.
Phil was a retired mechanic/small business owner and owned and operated the Pennzoil Service Station in Greensburg from 1976 through 2001. Prior to that, he held the position as the service manager at the local Buick dealership for a number of years. In his younger years Phil worked at the local Mercury and Studebaker dealerships. Phil loved Buicks and purchased numerous Buicks in his lifetime. Phil served in the U.S. Armed Forces in the Army from 1953 through 1955. He served in Europe at various locations and was honorably discharged as a Corporal. While stationed near Trieste, Italy, he met his future wife, Denise Lebeault who was from Longueuil, near Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Phil and Denise were married in Longueuil in December, 1956 and established residence in South Greensburg on Poplar St. in the house Phil was born in. He was a member of St. Bruno’s Roman Catholic Church in South Greensburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his older half-brother, Benny Crimbly, sister-in-law, Mary Crimbly, his middle brother, Alfred Crimboli and youngest brother, Eugene Crimboli.
Phil is survived by his wife of 69 years, Denise (Lebeault) Crimboli; two sons Marc Crimboli (Candace) and Nicolas Crimboli; grandson Adam Crimboli and granddaughter Casey Crimboli; sister-in-law, Teresa Crimboli (Eugene-deceased); brother-in-law, Pierre Lebeault (Jocelyne); sister-in-law Gisele Schrogl (George-deceased); and a number of nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends of Philip will be received Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W. Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020.
Prayers of transfer will be said in the funeral home Friday at 9:15 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Bruno Church.
Interment with Military Honors will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
