Patricia Varriano

Patricia (Haire) Varriano, 92, of Greensburg, died Sunday, November 02, 2025, in the Greene Health and Rehab Center. She was born July 05, 1933, in Harbour Grace, Newfoundland Canada, a daughter of the late Jeremiah and Alice Mercer Haire.

Patricia grew up in Newfoundland Canada and after high school worked on the US Military Base as a civilian. That is where she met the love of her life, Frank. After they were married, they relocated in the US in Greensburg where she worked for a time at the former GC Murphy Co. and also helped run the family business, Varriano Refrigeration until their son, Gerry took over. She was a member of St. Paul Church and enjoyed traveling, reading and doing crafts.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Varriano; her sons, John and Gerry Varriano; and siblings, Mollie, Sadie, Eileen, Jed, Bren, Billy and Joseph.

She is survived by her daughter in law, Martha Varriano of Greensburg; three grandchildren, Anthony J. Varriano (fiance, Holly Nabors), Mark J. Golden (Abbe Auen) and Casey Barbish (Edward); three great grandchildren, Milana, Gianna and Audriana Barbish; siblings, Agnes (Jim), Gerald, Bob (Loretta) and Ken, all of Canada; and several nieces and nephews.

Services and inurnment will be private in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park , Greensburg.
