Patricia J. Comp

Patricia J. (Johnson) Comp, 83, of Jeannette, died Tuesday, August 26, 2025, in the William Penn Care Center. She was born January 12, 1942, in Frostburg, MD, a daughter of the late Harold and Ann M. Kempert Johnson. 

'Pat' retired from PIE Trucking in Hagerstown, MD and then opened her own cleaning business, 'White Glove'. She had a huge love of animals. She raised horses and at one time had raised and cared for three St. Bernard's while training dogs for family and friends. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Comp; her son, Carl Hillsman; sister, Marlane Johnson and her infant brother, Richard. 

She is survived by her brother, Harold Johnson (Debbie) of Greensburg; her daughter in law, Carla Hillsman of Berkley Springs, WV; several nieces and nephews and numerous cousins. 

There will be no viewing or services, inurnment will be in Smithsburg Cemetery in Maryland.
