Nancy Watkins

Nancy Watkins, 77, of New Alexandria, died Saturday, July 04, 2026, in the Loyalhanna Continuing Care Center. She was born May 02, 1949, in Latrobe, a daughter of the late William and Mary Robb Watkins.

Nancy was a current member of St. James Church in New Alexandria, and a former member of St. Bartholomew Church in Crabtree. She was retired from the former Stuart's Drug and Surgical Supply, now Tri-anim Health Services. Nancy loved both playing and watching golf and was an avid Notre Dame Athletics and The Fighting Irish fan.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Ann Yanity, Thomas Watkins, and William 'Dudley' Watkins, and her nephew, Thomas Watkins.

She is survived by her nephews, William Watkins (Wendy) of Crabtree, Mark Watkins, Steve Yanity, and Gene Yanity (Carol); several grandnieces and nephews, godchildren and close cousins she kept in contact with every day and her brother-in-law, Gene Yanity.

Relatives and friends of Nancy are invited to attend Nancy’s funeral Mass to be celebrated Wednesday, July 08, 2026, at 11 a.m. in the St. Bartholomew Church, Crabtree, with Fr. Justin Matro, OSB, celebrating. Please go directly to the Church.

Interment will follow in Calvary Hill Cemetery, Crabtree.
