Nancy Beaken

Nancy C. (Brown) Beaken , 84, of Luxor, died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2022, surrounded by her loving husband and family. She was born Dec. 2, 1937, in Butler, a daughter of the late Robert Brown and Laura Kirsch Buzzard. Nancy was retired from environmental services department at Excela Health Westmoreland and was a member of Luxor United Methodist Church. She was the matriarch of her family and enjoyed crafting, shopping with her girls and cake decorating. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Larry Beaken; granddaughter, Debbie Myers; sons-in-law, Samuel Myers Jr. and Michael Petrazio Sr.; and two brothers, Bob Brown and Raymond Buzzard. She is survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, Harry E. Beaken Sr.; five children, Carol Wilson (Ace), of Greensburg, Debra Greer (Dave), of Greensburg, Harry E. Beaken Jr. 'Bo' (Debbie), of Luxor, Marcy Petrazio (fiance, Dave Perrino), of Mt. Pleasant, and Joe Beaken, of Latrobe; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her two best friends, Susie Shepler and Mary Hickle. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Nancy from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Pantalone Funeral Home with the Rev. Tammy Falscik officiating. Interment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg.
