Mary E. (Sorice) Schaefer , 72, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016, in the Oak Hill Nursing Center. She was born Feb. 11, 1944, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Matthew C. and Elizabeth M. Olah Sorice. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Matthew S. Sorice. She is survived by her brother, Michael Sorice and wife, Deborah, of Latrobe; her sister, Rebecca Sorice, of Greensburg; her nephew, Zachary Wolicki and his daughter, Kennedy; and numerous cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Mary from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. Parting prayers will be held at 9:15 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in the St. Bartholomew Church, Crabtree, with Father Justin Matro, OSB, celebrating.
