Mary Ranieri

October 14, 1920 — June 20, 2017

Mary G. (Bish)  Ranieri , 96, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, June 20, 2017, peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born Oct. 14, 1920, in Indiana, Pa., a daughter of the late John and Nellie Horne Bish. Mary was a member of Middletown United Methodist Church and a former member of TOPS in Jeannette.  She was an avid bowler and enjoyed music and singing in the church choir. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Ranieri; two sisters, Helen Black and Alice Atkinson; and two brothers, Jack and Bruce Bish. She is survived by her four children, Daniel Ranieri, Linda DeFloria, Anthony Ranieri (Karen) and Terry Ranieri, all of Greensburg; two grandchildren, Jenna Ranieri, of Pittsburgh and Daniel Ranieri, of Greensburg; a sister, Jeanne Anderson, of Hollidaysburg; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Mary from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday in Middletown United Methodist Church, Middletown Road, Greensburg, (724)-834-6355, with Rev. Kenneth Bossart officiating.  Everyone please go directly to the Church. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer Disease Research, 22512 Gateway Center Drive, Clarksburg, MD  20871. The family would like to thank her longtime caregivers, Brenda Hill, Nancy Yakubisin and Mary Allen for the loving care that they have given to their mother over the years.
