Mary Jane Elias

Mary J. (Schaff) Elias, 83, of Forbes Road, died Tuesday, September 05, 2023 in Mountain View Senior Living.  She was born January 04, 1940, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late John and Elsie (Pellis) Schaff. Mary was a graduate of the Westmoreland Hospital School of Nursing. Upon her graduation she became a Registered Nurse for Westmoreland Hospital in the emergency room. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Joseph E. Elias, Sr. She is survived by her three children, Joseph E. Elias, Jr. (Mary Kay) of Greensburg, Robert Elias (Patty) of Latrobe and Mary Tartal (William) of Greensburg; and three granddaughters, Jessica Tartal and Nicole and Julie Elias. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude PL,Memphis, TN  38105.
