Mark E. Winwood , 64, of Greensburg, died Thursday, May 12, 2016, at home. He was born Oct. 3, 1951, in Braddock, a son of Margaret Mimnaugh Winwood, of Irwin, and the late William Winwood. Mark had a zest for life and was known for saying "life is good." He was an active member of the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, having served on the Parish Council and was one of the founders of the Parish Picnic. He was a proud graduate of St. Vincent Prep and St. Vincent College, where he met his future wife and love of his life, Bobbie. Prior to working for Sears as a senior vice president for the East Coast, he taught French and English at Mon Valley Catholic High School. Mark was devoted to his family and his church and enjoyed skiing, golfing, woodworking and working in his garden. He was a member of the Greensburg Country Club and also volunteered with the St. Vincent Seminary and Habitat for Humanity. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his father in law Walter Niton. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 42 years, Bobbie A. Niton Winwood; his beloved son, Jon Mark Winwood and wife, Kelly, of Greensburg; his much anticipated granddaughter due in July; his brother, Russ Winwood and wife, Karen, of Irwin; his mother-in-law, Phyllis Niton, of Greensburg; his in-laws, Walter Niton and wife, Sheryl, of Johnstown, Debbie Fulgenzio and husband, Orlando, and Philip Niton, all of Greensburg; several nieces and nephews; and his loving dog, Bailey. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Mark from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. Parting prayers will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. in the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral.
