Lewis A Dominick, Jr., 100, of Hannastown, died Thursday, February 29, 2024, where he resided at St. Anne Home in Greensburg, his last years there that were spent alongside his wife of 77 years, Philomena (Florence/Flo Panigall). He was born February 13, 1924, in Crabtree. The son of the late Carmella Mignogna and Lewis Dominick, Sr.  Lew was a lifelong member of St. Bartholomew Church, Crabtree and was a proud member of their Fellowship Group.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked as a heavy equipment mechanic. He worked at Latrobe Construction and retired from Adam Eidemiller, Inc. in Greensburg.   Lew was a lifetime member of Hannastown Volunteer Fire Department, Keystone Rod & Gun Club, Old Crabtree Sportsman, and Operator Engineer Local Union 66. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by all of his siblings - Philomena (Florence), Pasquale (Patsy), Anthony (Tony), Joseph, Daniel, John, Bridget, Grace, Ernest, Frank, and Leander. He is survived by his beloved wife of seventy-seven years, Philomena (Florence/Flo) Panigall Dominick; three sons - Lewis III (Meredith), David (Debbie), Paul (Margie); 3 grandchildren - Keith (Gayle), Kurt (Chassity), Holly Stuller (Josh); 5 great-grandchildren - Sophia & Josephine Dominick, Ava Dominick, Macy & Chelsy Stuller; and numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Lewis, Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W. Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020.Prayers of transfer will be said in the funeral home Tuesday 9:15 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Bartholomew Church, Crabtree with Fr. Justin Matro, OSB, celebrating. Interment will follow in Calvary Hill Cemetery, Crabtree. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Excela Home Care attendant, Lisa Impink, and finally to the staff of St. Anne Home, especially the staff at Benjamin Gardens.
