Lena Passarelli

Lena E. (Paluzzi) Passarelli , 92, of South Greensburg, died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018, in St. Anne Home, where she was a resident for the past five years. She was born June 7, 1925, in South Greensburg, a daughter of the late Nazzareno and Bettina Coletta Paluzzi. She worked alongside her husband as a seamstress at the former Anthony's Tailor Shop and was a member of St. Bruno Church, South Greensburg. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Passarelli was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Anthony J. Passarelli, in 1997; and four brothers, Guido, Gino, Guerino and Rinaldo. Surviving are her three daughters, Christine Dimenno, Louise (Steve) Nelson and Donna Lee Passarelli; one granddaughter, Amanda Nelson, as well as many nieces and nephews; and her sisters-in-law Patricia Paluzzi, Linda Paluzzi and Belen Paluzzi. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law Eva Cardella, Carmela Rock, Mafalda Arrigone and Lucille (Jon) Fink. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Lena from 10:30 to 11 a.m., the time of services, Friday at CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
