Kathleen E. (Hyland) Cammerata, 79, of Greensburg, died Sunday, January 14, 2024, in the Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. She was born April 20, 1944, in Johnstown, a daughter of the late John and Lavina Hecker Hyland. Kathleen will always be remembered as a loving and dedicated wife, mom and homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Hyland, Jr. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of fifty-eight years, Thomas A. Cammerata; three children, Kimberly Barr (Paul) of Austin, TX, Greg Cammerata (Christina) of Greensburg and Michael Cammerata (Theresa), of Pittsburgh; four grandchildren, Ryan, Kaya, Lauren and Brooklyn Cammerata; sister, Marilyn Saylor (Terry) of Allentown; brothers, Thomas Hyland (Donna) of Johnstown and James Hyland (Tamara) of Ponder, TX; in-laws, John Cammerata (Pamela) of Johnstown and Donald Cammerata (Terri) of Lancaster; and numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Kathleen, Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W. Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Vincent Basilica.
