Kari A. Sekora , 60, of Luxor, died Friday, April 08, 2022 in the Latrobe Area Hospital. She was born May 13, 1961, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late John P. Sekora, III and Patricia Lynn Cianciotto. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Marilou E. Sekora. Kari was a strong and independent woman. The love she had for her grandchildren was like no other. Kari cherished her grandchildren more than life itself. She was a beautiful, kind & caring soul. Kari would give you the shirt off her back. Kari was the best Mother a child could ask for. She stood strong by her daughters through thick and thin and was the one who never gave up on them. She is and always will be our number one. “Forever our Cheerleader.” She is survived by two daughters, Amanda Hamby (Shane) of Luxor and Rachel Katic (fiance Roger Redman) of Pittsburgh; five grandchildren, Brianna, Katelynn, Sheena, Jack and Ryder; three siblings, Vicki Walker (Leo) of Luxor, John A. 'Butch' Sekora (Cindy) of Greensburg and Michael D. Sekora (Diana) of Utah and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 1:30 p.m. in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W. Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020. Inurnment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
