June Little Robinson

Robinson, June Little, of Silver Spring, Md., passed away peacefully September 28, 2023 after a lengthy illness. Born in Greensburg, PA on June 21, 1936, she was the daughter and only child of the late Harris H. and Ruth Woodcock Little. She graduated from Greensburg High in 1954 and attended Seton Hill College before marrying James (Jim) Robinson, who predeceased her. They lived in Irwin, Pa. and Poughkeepsie, New York, before settling in Silver Spring. June earned a degree in nutrition from the University of Maryland, College Park, and worked as a menu planner with Manor Care and Children's Hospital DC. She was an active member of Colesville United Presbyterian Church, serving over the years as an elder and deacon, a member of the handbell and Adult Choirs, and teaching Sunday School. She is survived by three children, Diane Joyner (Michael Joyner), of Mechanicsville, Va., Douglas Robinson (Theresa Nebel Robinson) of Ashton, Md., and Brett Robinson of Silver Spring, and three grandchildren, Matthew Wesley Robinson and fiancee Allie K. Lamb of Mt. Airy, MD, Joseph Nebel Robinson, and Thomas Christian Robinson of Ashton, MD. Services and entombment will be private in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park at Greensburg. June's family has entrusted her care to the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, Natale N. Pantalone, Supervisor.
