Joseph E. Blanda, Jr.

Joseph E. Blanda, Jr., 68, of West Newton, died Sunday, July 16, 2023.  He was born July 20, 1954, in Greensburg, a son of the late Joseph E. Blanda, Sr. and Joan V. Shaw Blanda. Joe was the owner of the former Blanda Home Improvements.  He was a member of the Young Voter's Club and an avid golfer.  He also enjoyed visiting the different breweries in the area. Joe was a friend to many and was known as the 'Scooter Guy', riding his electric scooter all over the area.  He will be greatly missed. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant grandson, Eli James Baldwin. He is survived by his cherished and only daughter, Amy Jo Baldwin (William) of West Newton; three grandchildren, Billy, Emily and Nathan Baldwin; sister, Janice Frye of Greensburg; niece, Katie Diamond; and nephew, Ben Frye. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Joseph, Thursday from 6:00 to 7:20 p.m., the time of services, in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W.
