John "Jack" R. Patrick

John R. Patrick, 86, of Southwest Greensburg, died Tuesday, June 16, 2026, in the Forbes Regional Hospital. He was born February 19, 1940, in Greensburg, a son of the late Frank and Virginia Macey Patrick.

Jack was a Research Lab Technician for Kennametal. He was also a member of St. Vincent Basilica. Some of his favorite pastimes were working in both his flower and vegetable gardens, playing golf and watching golf on television.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Patrick; his sister, Shirley Levay; and four brothers, Eugene, Bernard, Joseph and Charles Patrick.

He is survived by his son, Christopher Patrick of Latrobe; his beloved granddaughters, Emily and Rebecca Patrick and Lyla Petito and numerous nieces and nephews.

At Jack’s request, there will be no public services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
