John E. DeGregory

John E. DeGregory, 80, of Greensburg, died Thursday, November 09, 2023.  He was born March 02, 1943, in Greensburg, a son of the late Dominic and Lena Virginia Plundo DeGregory.  John was a member of the Charter Oak United Methodist Church and their 'God Squad'.  He was a charter member and chairperson of the NCRS Society and enjoyed his career of restoring fuel injections for Corvettes made from 1957-1965.  He is survived by his daughter, Michelle DeGregory (Fred Haeflein) of Victor, NY and her mother and his very dear friend, Janet Roy; son, John Thomas DeGregory of Greensburg and his mother, Barbara; brother, Dr. Thomas R. DeGregory (April); sister, Linda DeGregory, all of Greensburg; two nephews, Dominic DeGregory and Dr. Vincent DeGregory; niece, Alaina DeGregory; and numerous cousins.  Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of John, Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W. Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020.  A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10:00 am in Charter Oak Church, 449 Frye Farm Rd, Greensburg, with Pastor Chris Whitehead, officiating.  Everyone please go directly to the Church.  Interment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Westmoreland County Food Bank, 100 Devonshire Dr, Delmont, PA 15626.  John’s family has entrusted his care to the Pantalone Funeral Home Inc., Greensburg.  For online condolences / directions, visit us at pantalone.com.
