Jo Ann Iannuzzo

Jo Ann Iannuzzo , 80, of Pittsburgh, died Monday, July 18, 2016. She was born March 11, 1936, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Amedius "Mike" and Mary Scichilone Iannuzzo. She was a graduate of The Western PA School for Blind Children and Carlow College, majoring in organ performance. She enjoyed music, singing in the Bach Choir, lecturing and cantoring for her church. After retirement as a claims representative for the Social Security Administration, she also volunteered as a transcriber at Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. She is survived by a sister, Kathryn (Joseph) Wassermann, of Pittsburgh; also many aunts, uncles and cousins. There will be no viewing. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Jo Ann at her funeral Mass to be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2016, in the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral. Inurnment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Western PA School for Blind Children, 201 North Bellefield Ave., PIttsburgh, PA 15213.
