Jean Stipanovich

Jean J. (Zilli) Stipanovich , 91, of Greensburg, died Friday, Aug. 4, 2017, in the Bethlen Home.  She was born Aug. 5, 1925, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Zacharia and Anna Sbaizero Zilli. Jean was a member of Our Lady of Grace and its Rosary Altar Society. She was a Stanley Home products dealer and bowled for 40 years with the Delta Bowling League. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eli Stipanovich; a son, Lewis G. Stipanovich; two sisters, Asunta Smith and Victoria Gage; and three brothers, Louis, Angelo and Julius Zilli. She is survived by three daughters, Linda Zabish, of Marietta, Ga., Lesley Jones (Bill), of Ligonier and Laurie Turnbull (Tom), of Latrobe; six grandchildren, Laura and Lee Stipanovich, Tom Turnbull and fiance Melissa Gearing, Josh Turnbull,  Lauren Keslar (Zac) and Courtney Jones (Amanda);  four great-grandchildren, Kallie, Ayden, Nolan and Cooper; her sister, Mary Olmetti of Michigan; two sisters-in-law, Marty Zilli, of South Greensburg and Dolores Zilli, of Greensburg; a brother-in-law, Norman Gage, of Connecticut; and numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Jean from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Pantalone Funeral Home with Fr. Ryan Ravis officiating. Entombment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum, Greensburg. Our family would like to thank all of Bethlen Community's staff at Ligonier Gardens, Bethlen Home Skilled Nursing and especially Friendship Gardens and Hospice. They treated our mother with love and compassion, respect and friendship.  We could not have wished for more.
