Jane Harrington

Jane E. (Daerr) Harrington , 95, of Ebensburg, died Thursday, March 01, 2018 in the Cambria Care Center.  She was born August 10, 1922, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Alvie and Jane Pullings Daerr.  She was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral and their Rosary Altar Society.  She was a member and past president of the former JDMH Women's Auxiliary.  Jane and Bernard were members of the Family Motorcoach Club of Jeannette, enjoying RVing in their retirement years.  She was an excellent cook and baker who enjoyed nothing more than sharing her wonderful coconut cream pies, German chocolate cakes and homemade fudge and candy with friends and family.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene Daerr (Dorothy) and William Daerr (Dolores); and a sister, Anne Daerr.  She is survived by her husband of seventy-three years, Bernard J. Harrington; two daughters, Linda Bick (Ron) of Port Charlotte, FL and Beth Woo (Philip) of Ebensburg; four grandchildren, Amy Skelly (Jason), Christian, Ryan and Dane Woo; two great grandchildren, Sara and Padraig; and a niece, Sharon Knatz.  Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Jane, Friday from 5 to 7:00 p.m. in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W.
