James B. Boswell , 86, of Greensburg, died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016, in the Rehabilitation & Nursing Center of Pittsburgh. He was born Sept. 17, 1929, in Washington, Pa., a son of the late Robert J. and Ruth H. Boone Boswell. He was a retired fleet manager, Sun Oil and a veteran of the Marine Corps, having served during the Korean Conflict. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Edward Pacek; his brother, Robert J. Boswell; and his sister, Peggy Hutchison. He is survived by his daughter, Judy Pacek, of Greensburg; a son, James M. Boswell and wife, Margaret, of Westmoreland City; a grandson, Robert M. Boswell and wife, Michelle; a granddaughter, Stephanie Boswell; three great grandchildren, Kylie, Carter and Colton Boswell; several nieces and a nephew; and his former wife, Marilyn Jean Boswell. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of James from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020.
