Jack G. Hoggett, 84, of Greensburg passed away on May 5, 2024, amidst his cherished family members at home. He was born May 30, 1939 in Tarentum to the late George and Evelyn Hoggett. Jack married the love of his life, Margaret (Peggy) and were happily married for 61 years. Jack was a devoted catholic and was a member of Saint Bruno Church. Jack was a hardworking man who committed his life to various jobs at Prestige Furniture and at the former Hockensmith Foundry in Penn, PA. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting and spending time with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and his beloved dog Suzi and cat Crystal. He was also a member of the Bovard Fire Hall Social Club where he loved to grab a beer. Jack was a dedicated family man, always making beautiful woodworks for his family, growing magnificent sunflowers from seeds, attending field hockey, lacrosse, baseball, softball, and soccer games, watching his Steelers and Pirates, and impersonating Elvis at parties. Jack is preceded by his infant son Jeffrey Allen and his brother and sister-in-law, John and Joan Komarinksi. He is survived by his partner in life, his wife Peggy (Komarinski) Hoggett, his two children; Jodi Owens and husband Bill, of Greensburg, and Jenifer Stynchula and husband James, of Latrobe. Jack is also survived by his eight grandchildren; Angela Thomas and husband Adam, Alexa Stynchula, Gracie Stynchula and fiance Tyler, Alaina Pacelli and boyfriend Alex, Sophia Stynchula, Amelia Stynchula, Emanuel Stynchula, and Jack Stynchula and his two great grandchildren; Rylee and Logan Thomas. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Marlene Zyvith and husband Ed, who was a sister to him, and their sons; Eric Zyvith and girlfriend Carley, and Ryan Zyvith and wife Andrea, and their children Arya and Beau along with his nephews; John, Mark, Rick, James, Jeffrey Komarinski and their families.   A private viewing will be held for the immediate family.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend Jack’s funeral Mass to be celebrated Wednesday at 11:30 a.m in the St. Bruno Church, South Greensburg.  Inurnment will be in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bovard Volunteer Fire Department, 2 Washington Street, Bovard, PA 15619.  The family would like to thank the 4th floor of Latrobe Hospital and Excela Health Hospice nurses and staff for their exceptional care.  Jack’s family has entrusted his care to the Clement L.
