Hilary J. Kopcho

Hilary J. Kopcho, 64, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, October 14, 2026, in the Presbyterian University Hospital. He was born October 31, 1961, in Jeannette, a son of the late Leonard G. Kopcho and Pauline M. Kolick Kopcho.

Hilary graduated from Williamsport College with a 4.0 GPA, specializing in Plumbing and worked for Omnova Solutions in Jeannette. After he and Janice were married, they relocated to North Lauderdale where both of their children were born. They moved back to Western PA in 1993. Hilary was a member of St. Bartholomew Church in Crabtree and enjoyed watching hockey, especially when his son played, as well as golfing. He also enjoyed hunting and simply being outdoors.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his in-laws, Frank and Florence Uliano; and two brothers-in-law, David Mills and Frank Uliano, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Uliano Kopcho, with whom he would have celebrated forty-two years of marriage in November; his canine companion, Piper; daughter, Jillian Kopcho (Chad Seroki) of Greensburg and Ryan Kopcho (Victoria) of Bethel Park; beloved granddaughter, Liliana; brother Darrell Kopcho (Rosanne) of Ocala, FL; Laura Mills of Indiana, PA; brother-in-law, Michael Uliano (Janet) of Apollo; two sisters-in-law, Cathy Uliano of New Alexandria and Elaine Uliano of Greensburg and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends of Hilary are invited to attend his funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Monday October 19, 2026, in the St. Bartholomew Church, Crabtree with Fr. Justin Matro, OSB, celebrating.
