Gary Mitchell

Gary L. Mitchell , 42, of Greensburg, died Friday, May 25, 2018, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital.  He was born May 30, 1975, in Mt. Pleasant, a son of Paul J. and Shirley McNair Mitchell, of Ellsworth. Gary enjoyed riding dirt bikes and ATVs with his children, camping and cooking for his family.  He was a mechanic for Spectra Energy Delmont and served in the Army. He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, William McNair; and paternal grandparents, Clifford and Ruth Mitchell and Rose Mitchell. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his three children, Tyler, Jordan and Kyle Mitchell and their mother, Rebecca Armstrong Mitchell, all of Greensburg; two sisters, Donna Conaway (Mike Molish), of Roscoe, and Virginia Richards (Edward), of Eighty Four; a brother, Clifford Mitchell (Leya), of Ellsworth; his maternal grandmother, Freda McNair, of New Stanton; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no public viewing.  A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020.
