Garry Allen Marcheleovich, 66, of Greensburg, died Sunday, February 01, 2026, at home surrounded by family and friends. He was born January 03, 1960, in Greensburg, a son of Peggy Keene Marcheleovich and the late Harry Marcheleovich.
Garry graduated from Penn Trafford high school in 1978. He enjoyed making his toys go faster. In his earlier years, he deeply enjoyed thrill seeking with skydiving, scuba diving and loved boating. He was an adventurous soul.
Loved and revered by everyone who knew him, he spent his entire life helping everyone fix everything. He had excellent self-taught mechanical ability and could fabricate just about anything to create a solution for whatever required solving. He loved water activities and outdoor activities and spent a large part of his life boating, scuba diving, water skiing or doing anything fast. He also enjoyed walking around Loyalhanna Lake in his later years with his beloved Penny (dog). We all learned so much from him I really don’t know how we will manage without him. He truly lived “fast and loud” and died way too young. He has many untold stories left to tell and many will go untold.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Melvin and Ethel Keene, Harry and Josephine Marcheleovich; an uncle Richard Marcheleovich and cousin Gilbert Vucinich.
He is survived by his loving mother, Peggy (Keene) Marcheleovich; three sisters, Toyya Shields (Kevin) of Greensburg, Shelly Mitchell (Jamie) of Irwin, Dr Marlo Marcheleovich (Christopher) of Greensburg; three nieces, Nena Shields, Tia Shields, and Colette Mitchell; a nephew James Mitchell Jr and many very special aunts, uncles cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends of Garry will be received Thursday, February 05, 2026 from 4 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 7:00 p.m. in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601 724-837-0020. Pastor Thomas J. Kroll, will officiate.
