Florence Cassini

Florence N. (Nemec) Cassini , 89, of Greensburg, died Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017, in the St. Anne Home. She was born Jan. 26, 1928, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Frank John and Mary Veronica Grabiak Nemec. Florence was a retired registered nurse for Westmoreland Hospital and a member of St. Paul Church. She is survived by her three children, Peter Cassini (Deborah), of South Pointe, Pamela Aulagne (Marcel), of West Finley, and Paula (Dr. Frank) Feather, of Englishtown, N.J.; three grandchildren, Kimberly Hockman (John) and Veronica and Vivian Feather; a great-granddaughter, Cheyenne Hockman; a sister, Virginia Nemec, of Irwin; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Peter Pietro P. Cassini; four sisters, Mary Mazero, Dorothy Smarra, Kathryn Daugherty and Gertrude Andrewson; and four brothers, Frank J. Nemec III, Dr. John Nemec, DDS, Lawrence and Joseph Nemec. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Florence from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Pantalone Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg.
