Ernestine E. (Ambrisco) Boyle , 85, of Greensburg, died Friday, Jan. 20, 2017. She was born Nov. 2, 1931, in Connellsville, a daughter of the late George and Pauline Palovchalk Ambrisco. Ernestine worked in the Register of Wills Office for Westmoreland County for 25 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Ernestine was a fervent Pittsburgh Steelers fan and attended many games with her friend, Rae. She also loved going to The Meadows with her brother, Richard, and friend, Jackie. When she lived in the Alta Vita condominiums, she made many friends, took in untold games of bingo, played mah jongg and rummikub and loved to soak up the sun by the pool. The youngest of six children, she was predeceased by her five brothers, Ronald, John, Richard, Francis and George Ambrisco. She is also predeceased by her husband of more than 45 years, John C. Boyle; and two daughters, Sarah (Sally) and Margaret (Peggy) Boyle. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Boyle, of Greensburg; grandchildren, Danielle Huggins (Jay), of Hewitt, N.J., Mikaela Davis, of Pittsburgh, and John Patrick Boyle, of Tampa, Fla.; as well as great granddaughters, Caryn, Kate and Violet. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Ernestine at her funeral Mass to be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Our Lady of Grace Church. Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery. Ernestine's family has entrusted her care to the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W.
