Elsie Dvorchak

Elsie M. (Bassin) Dvorchak , 67, of Greensburg, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2018, peacefully with her family and friends by her side, achieving wholeness of her heart and body. She was born June 4, 1951, in Uniontown, a daughter of the late Forrest Glenwood and Catherine "Kitty" Mae Minerd Bassin. Elsie was a retired deputy coroner for Fayette County. She enjoyed walks at Twin Lakes Park with her fiance, baking amazing pies, animals and time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charlie and John Bassin. She is survived by her two daughters, Nicole Iorio and Gina O'Brien (Jeff), both of Louisville, Ky.; three grandchildren, Taylor, Rose and Charlotte O'Brien; her loving and devoted fiance, Denny Painter, of Greensburg; and her brother, Richard Bassin, of Ohio. In lieu of a public service, the family will be having a private celebration of her life. Elsie's family has entrusted her care to the PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., Greensburg.
