Dorothy Alsopiedy

Dorothy A. (Crimbly) Alsopiedy , 89, of South Greensburg, died Tuesday, September 27, 2016.  She was born August 18, 1927, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Amedeo and Virginia (Baroni) Ciarimboli.  She was a member of St. Bruno Church and her faith and family were of paramount importance to her.  In addition to being the office manager for the late Dr. John Liska, she had also been an auditor for South Greensburg and a tax preparer for H&R Block.  Dorothy loved people and dancing and was a skilled seamstress and cake decorator.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Alsopiedy; her son, Joseph A. Alsopiedy; a brother, Vincent 'Jim' Crimbly; and two sisters, Mary Sabatine and Ann Zetmeir.  She is survived by her daughter, Amy Ward and husband Michael of Evanston, IL; two grandsons, Daniel Ward and wife Jennifer and James Ward and wife Anne; a great granddaughter, Mia Ward; her sister, Gilda Dinsmore of St Petersburg, FL; and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.  Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Dorothy, Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W.
