Donald Smith

Donald (Don) James Smith , 56, of Armbrust, Pa. died on Thursday, January 4, 2018. He was born June 22, 1961 in Port Matilda, Pa. Son of the late Alexander and Adele McCutcheon Smith. Don was the owner of Don Smith Painting. Before his painting career he was the owner of George’s Small Engine Repair Service and Warranty Services, Inc. Don was known for his many talents and extraordinary musical abilities. He was a talented musician with a strong faith in God. He had a heart of gold, and would extend a helping hand to anyone who was in need. He and his boundless generosity will be greatly missed. Donald especially loved singing and playing his guitar, writing music, painting and spending time with his family. Donald was the beloved husband of 26 years to Kathleen Riley Smith; loving and devoted father of Grace Lorraine Smith of Greensburg, Pa. and the brother of Alex David Smith, Unity Township, Pa. A funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Grace Church on January 13, 2018 at Noon. In lieu of flowers the family will be accepting monetary donations to Grace’s Education Fund (S&T Bank 701 East Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg, Pa. 15601).  Arrangements by the CLEMENT L.
