Dawn Claiborne

Dawn R. Claiborne , 66, of Jeannette, died Friday, Jan. 21, 2022. She was born Dec. 31, 1955, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late John Bennett and Rozell Wills Claiborne. In addition to being a home health care nurse's aide, Dawn also provided massage therapy with her own business, "Kneaded Blessings." She was very strong in her faith and taking care of others was very important to her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her foster daughter, Jacqueline Berger; a brother, Corwin Wilkerson; and a sister, Terry Pipkins. Dawn is survived by three children, Dorian Cochran, of Clairton, Robert Woody II, of New Kensington and Ra'Mone Woody (Audrey), of Youngwood; eight grandchildren, Darian Cochran (Shanna), Brianna Cochran, Tiffany Berger, Joseph Berger and Ashley Wannamaker, Brittaney Williams and Taivon and Drahmiere Woody; five great-grandchildren, D'Andre, DaShae, Darian Jr. and Dion Cochran and Khamari Headen; four siblings, Bishop D.W. Claiborne (Karen Gandy), of Detroit, Mich., Darla Claiborne, of Greensburg, Darcyl Minow, of Toledo, Ohio, and Cynthia Williamson, of Greensburg; "God-Siblings," Jerry Skillings, of Greensburg and Tijuana Skillings, of Latrobe; nieces and nephews, Dorian Claiborne, Devin Mino, Kamika Mino, Kristen Dagner, Anthony Claiborne Hudspath, Jerry Hardison and Undrea Goodwin Russell.  Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Dawn from 4 to 8 p.m.  Friday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the New Creation Family Worship Center, 119 Westmoreland Ave., Greensburg, with Bishop Derrick Johnson, officiating.
