With deep sorrow, the family of David E Mastrorocco, announces his death on Sunday, June 22, 2025.
Dave, 85 of Greensburg, died at home in the loving care of his family and hospice nurses, Beth and Tom. He was born January 07, 1940, in Latrobe, a son of the late Vincent C, and Augusta Cestello Mastrorocco.
David was the owner of the former Mastrorocco's Market in Derry. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral and a Veteran of the US Army having served during the Vietnam Era. To say that he will be missed is an understatement. He shared so much of his love for life through boating, snowmobiling and sharing time with family and friends whom he cherished.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Richard Mastrorocco, Joan Ohi and Samuel Mastrorocco.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Kathleen (Reaney) Mastrorocco; sons, Vincent (Laura) of Blairsville, David (Laura) of Leetsdale, Matthew (Rebecca) of Hilton Head, SC, and Joseph (Jenny) Mastrorocco of Salt Lake City, UT; a daughter, Christine Huber (Tom) of Pittsburgh; 16 grandchildren, Michael, Anthony, Anna, Vincent, Benjamin, Julia, Jack, Ellie, Dory, Louis, Mae, Frankie Mastrorocco, Katelynn Murray (Scott), and Maxwell, Daniel and William Huber; two great grandchildren, Rosie and Mason Murray; three sisters in law, Mary and Vince Beirne of Pittsburgh, Betty Mastrorocco of Loveland, OH and Frances Reaney of Palm Desert, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved very much.
Relatives and friends of David will be received Friday from 1 to 8 pm. in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W. Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020.
Dave’s funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral. Everyone please go directly to the Church
Private interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
