Charles H. Ferguson, Jr., 92, of Derry, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2026, at St. Anne Home, Greensburg. He was born on February 10, 1936, in New Enterprise to Charles and Louiesa Fletcher Ferguson.

Chuck studied electrical engineering at the University of Pittsburgh and spent most of his career as a marketing executive working for Westinghouse in Trafford and later for ABB in Greensburg. Chuck was a member of the Bradenville United Methodist Church.

Chuck enjoyed supporting the Pittsburgh sports teams. He was an avid reader, skier and golfer. He was a long-time scouter and served for many years on the executive board for the Westmoreland Fayette Council and enjoyed leadership roles in the National Jamborees. He was the recipient of many council and regional awards for his service including the Silver Beaver and Silver Antelope. He also was honored with the Thunderbird Award and Vigil Honor in the Wagion Lodge #6.

Chuck loved his family and particularly enjoyed getting together with his many cousins. He is survived by his wife, Sandy; sister, Lois Weis; brother, Rex; children, Daniel (Kathy), Susan Rzucidlo (Mark), Cindy Shafer (David); grandchildren, Amanda Rzucidlo (David), Natalie Rzucidlo, Caley Ferguson (Chris), Alyssa Ferguson, Caitlin McCartney, Emily Sileo (Ethan) and great-granddaughter, Lily. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his sister, Darlene Spencer, brother-in-law, Randy Spencer, brother-in-law, Fred Weis and sister-in-law, Susie Ferguson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Westmoreland Fayette Council Boy Scouts.

Relatives and friends of Charles will be received Saturday March 07, 2026 from Noon until the time of funeral service at 1:30 p.m. in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601 724-837-0020. Pastor Olivia Graham, will officiate.

Inurnment will be in Calvary Hill Cemetery, Crabtree.
