Chad Andrew Skiavo

July 29, 1980 — March 11, 2026

Greensburg

Chad Andrew Skiavo, 45, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at home. He was born July 29, 1980, in Jeannette, a son of Gennaro and Patricia A. Nalevanko Skiavo.

Chad graduated from Greensburg Salem High School in 1998 and received his bachelor's degree from Seton Hill University in 2002. He was the first Seton Hill graduate to earn a double major in Art and Technology, while being Salutatorian and was the featured artist that year. He worked as the Senior Order Processing Specialist for Polyconcepts in New Kensington. He was a gentle giant, and a creative and artistic person. His artwork was featured at his own art show at Seton Hill University. He was also a self-taught musician with the drums and the guitar and was an avid Penguins fan. Chad’s favorite color was purple and by far Halloween was "His" Holiday, where he created spectacular indoor and outdoor displays. Sunday Night Italian family dinners were the highlight of his week especially getting to play with Josie Rose and just recently showing her how to juggle. He would always leave home saying "Love you and be careful." Chad was an avid Penguins fan and loved talking all sports with his Dad and could even outsmart his Dad on many facts. Each spring he made sure his Mom had more perennials for her gardens. Chad and his sister maintained a close and loving relationship talking nearly every day and spending time together each week. He was the best big brother and was always there for her. Dan shared many a laugh at Chads quick wit and sense of humor. Chad was blessed to have had many new adventures with Erin over the past 6 years.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Andrew and Elizabeth Jurick Nalevanko and his paternal grandparents, Gennaro ‘Geno’ and Jenny Cherubini Skiavo.

He is survived by his parents, Gennaro 'Geno' and Patricia 'Tric' Nalevanko Skiavo; his soulmate, Erin Beal of Greensburg; sister, Summer Bridge (Dan) of Greensburg; uncles Rich and Tom Nalevanko; an aunt Cynthia Nalevanko; several cousins; his special niece, Josie Rose and he and Erin's beloved French Bulldog, Frankie. He will be greatly missed by Erin's niece Freya and nephew Odin.

He truly cared for others and always did his best and will live on in our hearts forever and ever.
