Carlo Bisignani

Carlo Bisignani , 84, of Austintown, formerly of Greensburg, entered God's heavenly kingdom Monday, Feb. 5, 2018. He was born Nov. 22, 1933, in Greensburg, a son of the late Antonio and Anita DelCorona Bisignani. Carlo enjoyed movies, music, woodworking and growing plants. He was known especially for his roses as his father was before him. He loved sports, and his favorite teams were Penn State, the Oakland Raiders and the Green Bay Packers, the Pittsburgh Pirates and the New York Yankees. He was also an avid reader of World War II history. He was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral and its Garden Club, as well as the Elliott Retiree's Group and the Veteran's Association of Elliott Co. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Camille and Mario Bisignani; and a sister, Mary Jane Lovera. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Liticia "Tish" A. Vaccaro Bisignani; his two sons, Jerry Bisignani and his wife, Ann, of Pittsburgh, and David Bisignani and his wife, Rosemarie, of Austintown, Ohio; two grandsons, Brian Bisignani and his wife, Allison, of Bellbrook, Ohio, and Jeffrey Bisignani and his wife, Aimee, of Erie; four great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Joshua, Ryleigh and Addilyn; a brother, Robert Bisignani and his wife, Catherine, of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Carlo from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. Parting prayers will be held in the funeral home at 9 a.m. Friday, followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral.
