Bernadette R. (Reese) Mensch , 70, of Greensburg, went to be with her Lord Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2017, in Transitions Healthcare, North Huntington. She was born March 23, 1947, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Bernard Reese and Ceclia Reese Zahratka. Bernadette attended Zion Lutheran Church. She loved to play the harp, piano and organ. She also performed ballet on television, and one of her favorite pastimes was writing poetry. She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Gary Allan Mensch; five sisters, Marie Spezziale (John), of California, Ceclia J. Reese, of New Jersey, Sara R. Priester (Victor), of Jeannette, Kathy Ann Fennelle (William), of Latrobe, and Eddie Jo Deithorn, of Latrobe; a brother, Edward Zahratka (Pamela), of Mt. Pleasant; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Bernadette from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Pantalone Funeral Home with the Rev. Brian B. Chaffee officiating. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg.
