Anne (Sciullo) Morgenstern , 82, of Hempfield Twp., died Thursday, June 30, 2022 in the Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. She was born March 14, 1940, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Frank Sciullo and Beulah Falgione Sciullo. Anne graduated from St. Lawrence O’ Tool High School, Pittsburgh in 1958. She worked for many years in the commercial insurance industry in Pittsburgh, as an insurance underwriter and also for a commercial real estate developer. She met her husband, John, at a party in 1972. They were married two years later on April 20, 1974 and moved to Hempfield Township where they made a good life for 48 years. Anne became a stay-at-home mom while raising her two children until they were of an age when she could go back to work. She finished her working career at the Allstate office on East Pittsburgh Street in Greensburg. She was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral Church. Anne loved her family and cared for them tenderly. In her spare time, she loved reading books on her Nook and spending time with her Grand-dogs: Sundae and Abigail. Anne cherished her annual trips with her husband to the shore at Wildwood and Cape May, NJ. She is survived by her husband, John; daughter Gretchen Morgenstern (Paul) of Bethel Park and son Aaron Morgenstern of Penn Township. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Anne’s funeral Mass at 9:30 AM, Tuesday July 5, 2022 in the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, please go directly to the church. Interment will be private.
